The more I stop and think about the path my life is on, and the training I'm undertaking with school, and the state of the world at the moment, the more I come to realize a few different things....

Everyone has them. They're one of those small things that help us realize we are alive. Without the ability to dream, we tend to lose sight of what's important to us at any given moment.
On April 20th, 2021, Derek Chauvin was convicted on 1 count of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter.
This in itself is amazing news, but I will not be celebrating this verdict like so many of you are. Chauvin was a scapegoat. You can clearly see in the videos from his conviction that he thought he was going to be getting off.
As time goes on these days, I find myself losing faith in humanity more and more each day.
Excuse me while I take a moment to just....vent a frustration of mine. It's a frustration I have all too often these days, and it just won't go away.
Do you know what it's like to overclock a computer? That's what it's like for those of us with ADHD (at least in my experience). Our brains run hot all the time. Sometimes, we can't turn our brains off, as much as we'd like to.
One of the common themes throughout my life that has stuck with me no matter what stage of life I'm in or what state my life is in: the open road. I don't call myself a travel enthusiast, but rather a travel nut. I love seeing new places, peoples, and things. I'm usually happiest when I'm out on the open road. The open road and I are old friends.
